RHONJ couple Teresa and Joe Giudice are reportedly having a rough time adjusting to Teresa’s life behind bars. According to a new report, the pair have been arguing in the weeks since Teresa began serving time at the federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut.
In the new issue of In Touch Weekly, as reported by Radar Online on January 23, a source claims Teresa and Joe recently engaged in a heated debate over the phone.
“You could hear yelling and cussing on the phone. She was having an argument with her husband.”
The source claims the RHONJ couple’s main issue is with Joe’s failure to bring their four daughters for a visit until weeks after she’d been in prison.
“[Joe is] making her life miserable. She thought she’d see them right away, but that didn’t happen. [Teresa] feels like she’d been cut off from her family.”
Joe is reportedly at odd with his oldest daughter, Gia Giudice, as well.
“Gia refuses to speak to her dad. He went through her cellphone and blew up at her, and now she wants to move out of the house and in with one of her 3KT bandmates.”
Unfortunately for Gia, that isn’t a possibility since Teresa is reportedly relying on her to “take care of everything, because she thinks Joe is useless.”
As the Inquisitr reported earlier this week, Joe eventually got himself and his kids to prison for a visit with Teresa, and while he was there, things reportedly went well.
On January 20, a source told E! News the following information regarding the RHONJ couple’s first visit and the days after.
“The family was impressed at how nice they are. Teresa said the food is really good and that her roommate is pretty and very nice. The visit was exciting for everyone. It wasn’t a sad goodbye. It was a ‘See you soon.’ Everyone was just very relieved that Teresa looks and sounds so good.
“Joe got right back in the car to drive Gabriella to soccer and Gia went to rehearse with her group, 3KT, who’s putting out a new video soon.
“The house is in great shape. It’s very clean and tidy. When the girls got home from their activities, dinner was on the stove. Joe tucked them in and kissed them goodnight. It’s really sweet to watch them with him.”
The RHONJ couple was sentenced for charges of bank and wire fraud on October 2. Joe will serve a 41-month term after Teresa’s 15-month sentence is complete.
