Lindsey Vonn Buys Herself Louis Vuitton Purse After Win, Talks Tiger Woods’ Missing Tooth

Lindsey Vonn spoiled herself with some shopping after her big win on Monday. On Wednesday, the ski champion posted a photo of herself outside a store, holding a brand new Louis Vuitton purse, a pink clutch. She commented that sometimes “you just need to treat yourself to something nice.”

Several people commented that it’s only appropriate that Lindsey buy a LV product since she shares the same initials. The wallet/clutch retails for a cool $1,110.

Vonn probably won’t have any trouble replacing that money in her bank account. With her victory in the super-G in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, on Monday, she won her 63rd World Cup race and broke the all-time women’s World Cup wins record, previously held by Annemarie Moser-Proell with 62 World Cup victories.

One person who was on hand to celebrate Lindsey Vonn’s victory was her boyfriend, pro golfer Tiger Woods. No stranger to victories himself, Wood’s appearance at the race received even more press attention than usual thanks to one photo that shows him missing a tooth. The missing tooth photo prompted much speculation as to what exactly happened to Tiger’s smile.

On Tuesday, Lindsey backed up Tiger’s story that his tooth was knocked out by a camera man. She wrote on her Facebook page that “when [Tiger] was in the finish area, a camera man accidentally knocked into him and took out his front tooth.” The post’s accompanying photo shows Lindsey hugging Tiger, who is smiling with his mouth closed.

Vonn added that despite Tiger having had his tooth knocked out, he was still in “great spirits” and didn’t complain or ask for any special assistance or extra security. She wrote that that they were “both just happy to share the moment together.” Her Facebook post also revealed that Tiger’s appearance was a complete surprise to her.

While some people left supportive comments, others weren’t so kind. Some people questioned why Lindsey would want to date Tiger after all he’s done, a clear reference to the numerous affairs he had during his marriage to his now ex-wife, Elin Nordegren. One person wrote that she can’t help but smile a little at Tiger getting his tooth knocked out while another person said that Tiger really had his tooth knocked out years ago by his ex-wife with a golf club.

In an interview with CNN in November 2014, Lindsey Vonn credited Tiger Woods, whom the Inquisitr previously reported may become the first athlete to make $2 billion, with helping her recover from her injuries and get back to top form.

“Tiger and I both went through rehab with our injuries at a similar time, so we were both in the gym together and pushing each other and motivating each other… I think we both helped each other a lot through that time, and I drew a lot of inspiration from him and I think he does the same with me… it’s a really positive relationship in that way.”
