Sofia Vergara Pregnant? ‘Modern Family’ Actress Planning For Baby With Joe Manganiello [Report]
Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello already have babies on the brain apparently. According to InTouch Weekly, the newly engaged couple is planning for wedding anda baby. The Modern Family actress, 42, is reportedly preparing to have a baby via surrogate. In fact, Sofia previously said that she was freezing her eggs just in case she needed them in the future.
“I just wanted to plan ahead. Nothing happens that naturally anymore. I wanted to take advantage of science,” Vergara said in 2013.
It is unknown if Sofia is unable to get pregnant naturally, but she has already taken steps to give her more chances of becoming a mother again (she has a son, Manny, 22).
News that Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello were expecting their first child together circulated earlier this week when some media outlets reported that Sofia was pregnant with twins. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, sources said that Sofia and Joe would be welcoming their babies in June. However, that doesn’t sound like what’s actually going on. For one reason or another, it sounds like Sofia has been planning to have another child via a surrogate (or really a gestational carrier, as it will be her egg and Joe’s sperm). Now it sounds like that plan might already be in motion. Joe doesn’t have any children, and if he wants to be a dad, that was likely something that he discussed with Sofia before the two got serious.
“Sofia and Joe will use a surrogate, but the baby will be their biological child, conceived with Sofia’s egg and Joe’s sperm. It’s a closely guarded secret why Sofia won’t be carrying the baby and not something they’re openly talking about. One thing is for sure, though: They can’t wait to be parents,” said a source.
Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello were spotted out and about recently, and Sofia certainly didn’t look like she was pregnant. It did look like she was extremely happy though, which is to be expected. Perez Hilton posted a bunch of pictures of the happy couple, who have been inseparable since getting together last year.
The two haven’t said anything about an actual wedding, but most people suspect that they won’t wait very long. And if there is any baby news to report, chances are there will be an announcement in the near future.
