Eric Benet, Manuela Testolini Welcome First Child

R&B superstar Eric Benet and his wife of five months, Manuela Testolini, have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, the singer’s rep confirmed to US Weekly.

The new baby, named Lucia Bella Testolini Jordan, was born in Los Angeles just days before Christmas.

Although the news of the happy couple’s bundle of joy was officially announced today, Benet’s followers on Twitter have known of Lucia’s birth for over a week as Eric posted back on Dec. 23:

“Best thing in the world..sending your 3 day old baby back to sleep w lil kisses on her head at 3:20am ? so happy!!”

Prior to saying their “I dos” in a low-key July 2011 ceremony, Benet and Testolini dated for four years.

It was the second marriage for both “Real Love” singer Benet and Testolini, who both have famous exes

Manuela was first married to Prince for five years; they divorced in 2006. Eric, 45, wed actress Halle Berry in 2001; the couple divorced in 2005.

Lucia is Benet’s second child. The Grammy-nominated artist also has a 20-year-old daughter, India, from a previous relationship.
