Andy Cohen Didn’t Think Brandi Glanville’s ‘WWHL’ Joke Was Funny

Andy Cohen is finally reacting to Brandi Glanville’s wine toss on Watch What Happens Live earlier this month. During her appearance, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star appeared to feud with fellow guest Jeff Lewis. However, after the show aired, she claimed it was all a set-up.

While Glanville and Lewis got along during the first half of the show, they led fans to believe they had a dispute during a commercial break, which ultimately led Glanville to throw her glass of wine on Lewis and burst into tears. Meanwhile, host Cohen sat in shock as he watched the prank play out, unaware that the joke was on him.

Although Andy Cohen chose to stay silent in the days that followed the episode, he has since spoken out, claiming he didn’t find Glanville and Lewis’ prank to be funny.

“It wasn’t a joke to me. It wasn’t funny,” he said, according to a January 20 report by AllAboutTRH.

Once the live taping ended, as the Inquisitr reported, Glanville took to Twitter, where she told fans her and Lewis’ feud was a joke.

“People @JLJeffLewis & I were joking!” she wrote.

“We are good friends! I turned around cuz I couldn’t stop laughing we wanted to fool Andy! #wefooledandy.”

Later, she added,

“Just getting bAck to my hotel – It was just jokes for @Andy sake although @JLJeffLewis might have deserved it!#heartu #1st2foolAndy.”

The following morning, Us Weekly reported on the incident, claiming their alleged fight was over a comment made about an STD.

“Cohen had asked Glanville if she could run her fingers through Lewis’ hair to prove he didn’t wear a toupee. The blonde housewife had refused to do that to her co-guest, but then Lewis made a quip, asking Cohen, ‘Could I get an STD from that?’ The joke didn’t appear to cause Glanville great distress, but when the show returned after a commercial break she wanted to revisit to the topic.”

Although Andy Cohen has just spoken about the prank, his friend Lisa Vanderpump weighed in on the issue last week, claiming to Perez Hilton she wasn’t so sure it was a joke.

“She was tweeting afterwards saying it was, like, fixed or something. I kind of thought it was inappropriate. Whether it was a joke, it looked like it was a joke that went wrong. I didn’t quite get it.”
