Tattoo Artist Offers To Ink Your Name On Her Body For Just $10

A 22-year-old tattoo artist from Los Angeles is on a mission to cover her entire body in ink and is offering people who are interested the opportunity to have their name inked onto her body for as little as $10.

Illma Gore’s project, which is named “A Hundred Tiny Stories,” was doing nicely, having raised $11,000 through a Kickstarter campaign, until it got suspended suddenly.

As Gore said about her project, “It’s art. It will annoy people or make them happy or make them smile. Either way, that’s what art’s supposed to do.”

In order to jumpstart her income and raise some much needed cash, Gore is now offering herself up as a “human billboard” of sorts and will tattoo a donor’s name on her body for just $10. For $25, she will tattoo the donor’s and a friend’s name next to each other on her leg.

Donors also have the option of adding a logo or design with their name, but that will set them back $100. She is even offering to “sell” the entire front and back of her right thigh for a cool $1k.

As the ambitious, and one must say entrepreneurial, tattoo artist writes on her campaign page, “I want to be a singular tattoo for my latest art exhibition, and I want it to be your names. This is going to be an art exhibition in LA featuring my body and your names. There is something absurd and beautiful about having an accumulation of absolute stranger’s names draped over my pale goth skin, even if half of them are ‘Penis Butt.'”

Gore added, “I am my own ultimate canvas. Like my art exhibitions and murals this is a social and artistic experiment! Each person’s name to me represents YOU the main protagonist in your own story. I will be covered in a hundred tiny stories.”
