‘Teen Mom’ Air Date For Season Five Revealed?

Has a Teen Mom air date finally been revealed? While MTV has been quiet about the release date of the all-new season of the show, Teen Mom Junkies is reporting that the show will air next month. This start time is a bit later than fans had thought.

Initially, the Teen Mom air date for season five was expected to be in January. Filming for the new season was revealed last year, but little details were given. Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood will all return for the new season which last aired in 2012. The show ended when Portwood was faced with a prison sentence, but now that she has been released and living a positive lifestyle, MTV is ready to film.

So, when can fans expect to see the new show? If TMJ is correct (they previously reported Maci Bookout’s pregnancy before she revealed it to the tabloids), then the Teen Mom air date is February 2. This would make the show premiere on a Monday, and that means that Teen Mom Mondays would be back! MTV has typically aired TM and TM2 on Monday’s or Tuesdays, rarely deviating from those two days.

Maci Bookout’s storyline will revolve mainly around her new pregnancy which was announced late last year. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Maci is due to give birth to a baby girl in June and the pregnancy was quite a surprise! However, unlike her first pregnancy that was filled with uncertainty, Maci Bookout is in a better place this time around.

“Last time there was a lot of worry and concern. It was just me and Bentley facing the world together, and I had to figure things out as I went. This time I’m able to be excited because I’m older and able to give my baby the stability of the relationship that Taylor and I have.”

Catelynn Lowell was pregnant for the majority of her filming, and that is likely what her storyline will be about. She gave birth to a baby girl on New Year’s Day and, it is unclear if MTV cameras were there to capture the miracle. Catelynn’s positive pregnancy test will also make an appearance on the show, possible on the Teen Mom air date, but likely further into the season.

With Amber Portwood out of prison, her story will likely revolve around her getting her life back in order. She also has a new boyfriend, but it is unclear if he will be filming for the new season.

Farrah Abraham was not asked back for the show’s fifth season.

MTV has not yet confirmed the Teen Mom air date so, at this time, it is nothing more than a rumor.
