‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’ Season 10 Filming: Bravo Is ‘Not Happy’

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 began filming this month, but thus far, producers aren’t thrilled with the footage.

According to a January 16 report by Radar Online, Bravo is searching for new cast members to join the show after feeling the footage thus far has been lackluster.

“Filming has begun, but producers are not happy. The production team is struggling with the women and has described all of the storylines they’ve been presenting as relatively boring. While it may not be the most interesting thing to every viewer, Tamra Judge is the only one coming up with stuff that can actually be filmed. She is filming stuff pertaining to her family. In that sense, she has a lot going on.”

The source claims Bravo attempted to save footage from last season’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey until the season aired, but their plan backfired and the ratings suffered because of it. So when it comes to The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10, they are taking action now in an effort to prevent a ratings decline.

“Bravo is exploring opportunities to add new members to the cast. They are looking at options to bring on some wives of sports stars to the mix. As with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the producers are also exploring any previously well known celebrities they could bring on.”

Unfortunately, they haven’t had any luck so far.

They have, however, reportedly began considering bringing back Jeana Keough. As the Inquisitr reported, producers felt Keough would be a good addition to the show, especially because of her current relationship with longtime cast member Vicki Gunvalson.

“Bravo has reached out to Jeana,” an insider told Radar Online earlier this month. “They have asked her what is going on in her life with the hopes of understanding what a potential storyline for her could be.”

“[Jeana Keough] has had lots of changes going on in her life. Her daughter recently got married, her oldest son is dating someone new, and she has two exchange students that live with her and keep her busy!”

Keough appeared on the show during Season 1 through 5.

“Vicki and Jeana are still good friends. Vicki has made it publicly known on social media that she would love Jeana to come back, and the two definitely would have a great relationship.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County was officially renewed last week.
