Kailyn Lowry’s Son Turns 5, Javi Marroquin Speaks Out About Becoming A Stepdad

Kailyn Lowry and her son, Isaac, were introduced to the world on 16 and Pregnant nearly five years ago. With so many fans remembering the little boy as an infant, it is hard to believe that this little guy recently turned 5-years-old. Kail and her husband, Javi Marroquin, celebrated with Isaac and a Ninja Turtle-themed birthday party.

Photos of the party popped up online and show everyone having a great time. For his birthday, Kailyn redid Isaac’s bedroom in a new theme and even redid Lincoln’s as well.

When Javi Marroquin met Isaac for the first time, he was very young. He and Kailyn Lowry were not yet married, but he knew that getting involved with her would not be easy. Not only would he need to be there for Kail, but also for Isaac. Posting a photo from the party, Javi reflected back on that time.

“I wasn’t sure if I was ready, wasn’t sure what I was getting into, wasn’t sure if I was able to provide, wasn’t sure about a lot of things. Do I jump and hope I don’t fall?”

While it was obviously a huge decision to make, Javi started a relationship with Kailyn Lowry and never looked back. The two are now married, and they recently added another son to their family. Javi revealed that it was one of the “best decisions he ever made.”

“You were one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I remember when I first met you, Isaac. Barely talking and a head full of curls. 4 years later you and your brother continue to teach me what a dad really is. Happy 5th birthday Papi JR. I love you”

Sharing the same photo of Isaac blowing out his birthday candles, Kailyn Lowry took to Instagram to also share her thoughts on the big day.

“Happy 5th birthday to an amazing little boy who made me MOMMY. No amount of words or Instagram posts can justify how much I love you! ***insert “my wish” by the rascal flatts lyrics here***”

Kailyn Lowry, Javi Marroquin, Isaac, and Lincoln will all be back for an all-new season of Teen Mom 2 later this year. While most of the cast have been captured filming for the new season (including Kailyn and Javi as previously reported by the Inquisitr), there is no indication that cameras were at the birthday party. However, Kailyn and Javi shared plenty of photos for fans to see.
