‘Shahs Of Sunset’ Season 4 Premiere Date And Official Trailer Released [Video]

Shahs of Sunset is returning to Bravo for a fourth season in March.

As the Inquisitr reported on January 15, Bravo recently announced, via press release, a premiere date and description for the upcoming season.

“The glittery and gold-drenched cast is living the good life, riding high and taking some big chances to find happiness in their professional, artistic and romantic lives. When a scandalous accusation from one of their own shakes the group to the core, lifelong friendships are in jeopardy. Reza Farahan, Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi, Mercedes ‘MJ’ Javid, Asa Soltan Rahmati and Mike Shouhed return along with a sultry new cast member Asifa Mirza.”

According to a January 16 report by AllAboutTRH, Shahs of Sunset was initially due to premiere in October, but after the show’s editing staff went on strike, the premiere date was pushed back.

Following the show’s third season, star Lilly Ghalichi, who was brought onto the series during Season 2, was released from her contract. Although several reports have claimed she was fired for being “too boring” for the Bravo reality series, she insisted, during an interview with Bravo, that she chose to walk away in order to focus on her growing business.

“Being a part of Shahs is something I will never forget. I wish the show and all my former cast members the best. My main focus has always been on my businesses, and I am so humbled by and overwhelmed with all my current projects.”

After she left the show, Ghalichi became engaged to Dhar Mann, and is currently planning her wedding. However, when it comes to her big day, Ghalichi told Rumorfix not all of her co-stars would be invited. Unfortunately, she didn’t name names.

“I will definitely invite some of the cast. I mean people [on Shahs] that don’t like me definitely won’t be invited, but I love the cast and I’d love for them to be there on that day.”

As for how the cast felt about Ghalichi leaving Shahs of Sunset, they didn’t appear to be too upset when they spoke to Rumorfix at last month’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles.

“Lilly who?” Farahan asked the site. “It’s actually real. It’s the best season we’ve had so far.”

Farahan added. “Bye Felicia.”
