The Bachelorette stars Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are about to get hitched and it seems their wedding day may be closer than many fans realized. Desiree and Chris have already confirmed that they will be getting married in January, and now Reality Steve has dished out a much more specific tidbit. When does he say Siegfried and Hartsock will become husband and wife?
Reality Steve dishes that this Bachelorette wedding, which unfortunately for fans will not be televised by ABC, is taking place this weekend. Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried have said that they are getting married in California, though they live in Seattle these days. At this point, however, the exact location and time of the wedding does seem to remain under wraps.
There will be some familiar faces at the wedding, even though the network isn’t footing the bill. Tasos Hernandez, seen on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette, as well as last summer’s Bachelor in Paradise, will be Des and Chris’ wedding DJ, according to Hartsock’s blog. Bridesmaids will include Molly Mesnick, Daniella McBride, and Amy Bean, and chances are pretty good that some other Bachelor franchise folks will be involved in the couple’s big day as well.
Though Desiree and Chris’ nuptials won’t be televised, they have already shared that Us Weekly will have exclusive rights to the scoop and photos from the big day. If indeed Hartsock and Siegfried’s wedding takes place in California this weekend, Bachelorette fans can likely expect to see a layout in next week’s issue.
Though there has been some buzz that Chris and Desiree are bitter over not getting an ABC televised wedding, she says that’s not at all the case. The couple did appear on the Bachelor float during the recent Tournament of Roses parade earlier this month and they’ve been having Bachelor viewing parties with the Mesnicks in Seattle now that Chris Soules’ season has started.
In addition, when the idea that they’re bitter came up via Twitter, Hartsock said “Of course we’re not!” and she added that they are so excited for their big day. Their wedding has been a while in the making and while they have had their fair share of doubters along the way, Des and Chris’ fans are thrilled that the couple is finally about to wed.
Reality Steve has also said that he did indeed send a wedding gift out to them, which is his standing promise to any couple from The Bachelor or The Bachelorette who eventually makes it down the aisle. He hasn’t had to do it many times, and with Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray’s split it looks like he’s off the hook for another gift — for at least a bit.
Stay tuned for more details from Desiree and Chris’ wedding. Is the Bachelorette duo indeed getting married in California this weekend? Just how soon will Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried confirm the news and share some scoop?
