Did ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star James Kennedy Quit SUR?
Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy has made quite the splash on this season of the show this season. Kennedy was introduced as Kristen Doute’s new boyfriend, and the opinions were split. Half of viewers felt sorry for him that he would be dating Kristen, while the other half had hoped that James would make her change for the better. The latter has yet to be seen, but Doute does seem very hung up on Tom Sandoval still.
But James Kennedy isn’t letting Kristen’s unresolved feelings stop him. While Doute is still dealing with some unresolved feelings and a personal mission to break Tom and Ariana Madix up, James is focusing on his dreams. And if you are to believe his Twitter account, Kennedy may already have taken the next big step in his career.
According to a new set of tweets, Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy was recently approached on Twitter in regards to his whereabouts at SUR. Of course, Kennedy wrapped filming a while ago, so many things could have happened over the past few months.
“Why aren’t you a server way better than the guy who was our server thanks hommie ? [sic]” one follower wrote to Kennedy on Twitter, asking him why he was nowhere to be seen at SUR.
“Cause I DJ now! ;),” James Kennedy replied, hinting that he has now been able to make the switch from being a server to being a DJ.
So, what does this mean for his role on the show? Well, James is actually adored by many fans on the show because he makes the dynamic between Kristen and Tom more interesting. Earlier on this season of Vanderpump Rules, James was fired from SUR because Lisa Vanderpump didn’t have enough loyalty towards him, but he fought his way back into the restaurant, according to the Inquisitr.
And it sounds like James Kennedy still has his connections to Lisa Vanderpump. This week, he is hosting a party with both SUR and PUMP, as mentioned in the press release.
“Come out and party this week! @SurRestaurant @PumpRestaurant (Wednesday at SUR 9pm) (Fri-Sat at PUMP 10pm),” Kennedy revealed on Twitter, hinting that he is indeed DJ-ing for a living now.
It is interesting to see that James, who is the youngest person of the entire Vanderpump Rules cast, is indeed the one who has broken free the fastest, should his tweet be true.
