Farewell cabbage soup diet, hello Total 10 Rapid Weight Loss plan? After testing it in trials, Dr. Oz determined that the high protein diet took off an average of 8.1 pounds in two weeks. Now he’s providing additional details, including how to enhance it with desserts.

Total 10 rapid weight loss plan details.
Total 10 Rapid Weight Loss Diet is designed to take off an average of eight pounds in two weeks.

While the Paleo-style low-carb diet is designed to curb cravings by providing unlimited non-starchy vegetables and generous servings of protein at every meal, Dr. Oz noted that some dieters may still long for a sugar fix. The key is to choose your sugar source wisely. For example, in the dessert recipe below, zero-calorie stevia is used for a safe sugar source.

Total 10 Banana-Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/4 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 liquid Stevia

Directions: Combine ingredients, mash and enjoy!

You can eat one Total 10 dessert recipe each week, with a dessert counting as one snack. Two snacks are allowed daily, such as an apple with nut butter or a handful of nuts. In addition, you can sip unlimited amounts of vegetable broth (see the recipe below).

Another option for satisfying sugar cravings is to use cinnamon, said Dr. Oz on his January 12 show. Try adding to your coffee, for example, or using in a recipe such as the approved dessert below.

Kick off your day with a protein smoothie.

For those who are used to starting their day with a breakfast of sweet rolls or a jelly doughnut, the Total 10 weight loss diet includes a protein smoothie for breakfast. That extra dose of protein, plus the 12 ounces of protein in the form of poultry, fish or eggs allowed each day, helps the metabolism to function properly while curbing those cravings, said Dr. Oz.
