Watch Charlie Hebdo Gunmen Yelling Islamic Propaganda, Confronting Police In New Video

Watch this new video showing the Charlie Hebdo gunmen yelling their Islamic propaganda and engaging in a shooting battle with a police officer that had rushed to the scene.

The never-before-seen clip, taken by an amateur photographer stationed in a higher floor at an adjacent building, shows a different angle of what was taking place as Cherif and Said Bouachi escaped the offices of the satirical magazine last Wednesday. There, they executed 11 staffers and a police officer, for what they believed was offensive cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed.

Previously, a video — also captured by a nearby resident — showed how the terrorists escaped, but not before turning to kill a police officer who was trying to protect innocent civilians. The man — who was also a Muslim — is seen begging for his life with his hands up, but the killers take no mercy on him and shoot him point blank range in the head.

If you watch this new Charlie Hebdo video, you can clearly hear the two gunmen yelling their Islamic propaganda, which has been translated as saying, “We have avenged the Prophet Mohammed” only seconds after escaping the scene of the massacre.

At one point, the brothers are seen reloading their weapons and then a police car is seen trying to block the terrorists from getting away, but one of the brothers leans out to shoot at it. As if they knew they had the attention of residents nearby, the brothers yell over and over “We have avenged the Prophet Mohammed!”

The man taking the video is heard saying, “That’s France for you.” While the Charlie Hebdo gunmen are heard yelling something followed by “Al Qaeda in Yemen.” The terrorist group has taken responsibility for the attack, and investigators now say Said Kouachi was the roommate of the so-called Underwear Bomber — Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab — around 2009.

According to a report on CNN, the United States is working under the assumption that Said Kouachi traveled to Yemen to meet with American terrorist cleric Anwar al-Awlaki at some point and received orders from al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) to carry out an attack, a U.S. official says. Both terrorists were killed on Friday in a shootout with police north of Paris.

Cherif and Said Kouachi are accused of killing 12 at the Charlie Hebdo offices in Paris on January 7, 2015. The brothers were killed by police on Friday, January 9.

If you watch the new video of the Charlie Hebdo attack you can hear the two men capturing the footage at first believe the bullets were false. However, later on they realize they’re witnessing a crime.

“These are false bullets… No they’re not false bullets. They’re ricocheting. Look at the cops. Look, look. They’re reversing. They’ve smashed the cars.”
