Demi Moore Joins Linda Lovelace Biopic Cast

Actress Demi Moore has signed on for a role in the pornographic based biopic Lovelace which surrounds the life of porn actress Linda Lovelace. The announcement was confirmed by the films producers on Monday afternoon.

In her role Moore will play iconic feminist Gloria Steinem who fought much of her life against the exploitation of women in pornography.

Also signing on for a role in the movie is Eric Roberts who has agreed to play a lie-detector expert while Adam Brody will play Harry Reems, the male “star” of the movie “Deep Throat.”

In the meantime the role of the iconic porn figure will be played by Amanda Seyfried who will be helped along in her research for the role by the Lovelace estate which is assisting in the Millennium Films production.

Other notable actors appearing in the film include Peter Sarsgaard at Lovelace’s husband and James Franco who will take on another iconic role, that of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.

The film is currently being directed by the duo of Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman and the screenplay was written by Trust writer Andy Bellin,

Filming is already underway on the $10 million flick with a release date not yet set.

This particular version of the Lovelace story should not be confused with Inferno: A Linda Lovestace Story which was originally set to star Lindsay Lohan as Linda Lovelace. Inferno is set to debut in 2013 and now stars Malin Akerman.

Do you plan on seeing either one of the Linda Lovelace biopics when they arrive in theaters sometime in the next year?
