WWE News: Backstage Update On Undertaker’s Status For ‘WrestleMania 31’ Match With Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt is still being seen as the lead guy to take on The Undertaker, if the “Dead Man” is able to make it to WrestleMania 31. Still, it isn’t even known if he’s going to be able to wrestle ever again, but there are some signs pointing to the WWE legend being there for yet another huge event and trying to get everyone past last year’s broken streak.

WrestleZone reports that Bray Wyatt is being booked to look extremely strong lately, and that has shown. His multiple victories over Dean Ambrose in the past two months are making him look like a main event star.

The most recent victory came this past Monday in an Ambulance Match over Dean Ambrose on Raw. It’s being said backstage that many are taking this as a sign that Undertaker is indeed ready to compete at WrestleMania 31.

According to Wrestling Inc., fans were shocked that Wyatt went over Ambrose clean in the Ambulance Match, but there may be much more coming from that.

Rumors are swirling that Dean Ambrose could turn heel in the near future, and WWE doesn’t have to protect his character as much. Building up Bray Wyatt is huge, if he’s really going to face Undertaker at WrestleMania 31.

With Taker’s loss to Brock Lesnar last year and the streak being broken, Wyatt could be seen as a true contender to get a win over the “Dead Man.” That is, if he’s built up the right way.

It’s truly hard to know if Undertaker will be in the right shape to ever wrestle again, but fans are hoping he will be. Pics emerged of him out and about over the last couple of months, and he’s truly starting to show his age.

There are still a few months until WrestleMania 31, so there is time to make a final decision on a match for the Undertaker, whether it is against Bray Wyatt or anyone else. Still, there will need to be build-up for it, and that should start by at least the Royal Rumble.

Bray Wyatt is being built up very strong by WWE right now, and the backstage hope is that he can indeed be Undertaker’s opponent at WrestleMania 31. Well, first, the decision needs to be made on whether Undertaker will even be able to go or not.

Right now, all signs are pointing to a return of the “Dead Man.”
