Robert Griffin III To Make NFL Decision Soon

Robert Griffin III will have plenty of offers if he decides to go pro next year. The 2011 Heisman winner put an emphatic stamp on his college career with his performance last night in the Alamo Bowl, but RG3 hasn’t decided if he’s ready to leave college football just yet.

Griffin led the Baylor Bears to an incredible record breaking 67-56 victory over Washington. Griffin went 24 for 33 for 295 yards and a touchdown. RG3 also ran for a touchdown as the Bears earned their first postseason win in 189-years.

Griffin did his part to help Baylor and Washington set a few records during last night’s Alamo Bowl. The game set a record for most yards in a bowl game (1,397), equaled the record for most touchdowns (16), and was two points shy of the total points record.

Needless to say, it would be a great game to end a college career on.

ABC reports that Griffin was greeted with cheers of “One more year!” when he made a victory lap after the game with the Alamo Bowl trophy. But will Griffin stay at Baylor for another season? We’ll find out in the next two weeks.

After the game, Griffin said:

“I want Baylor nation to enjoy this. It’s not about me. I’ve got about two weeks. I’ll enjoy this the next day, and then the next day, and then I’ll make (my decision).”

Do you think Robert Griffin III will stay at Baylor for another season? Should he make the jump to the NFL?
