Port Columbus Shooting Update: A fight between a tow truck driver and an unidentified person occurred just before the Columbus International Airport shooting, prompting a police officer to radio for assistance. The shooting suspect was in the ticketing area just prior to the fatal shooting, according to 10 TV News.

Columbus International Airport in Ohio was the sight of a shooting around 1;15 p.m. One individual was killed int the police involved shooting, according to breaking news reports. No police officers were injured in the Columbus, Ohio airport shooting.

The Columbus International Airport shooting reportedly occurred in the passenger departure area. All arrivals at the Columbus airport have been shut down. Port Columbus Airport police officers reportedly called for a medic and then canceled the request noting they would call the coroner, according to scanner traffic communications shared by the Columbus Dispatch.
