‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Theresa And Paige Leaving Salem?
Days of Our Lives fans may be losing two of their favorite characters. According to the latest spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry both Theresa Donovan and her niece, Paige Larsen could be exiting the show for good!
Soap Central confirmed that Jen Lilley, who plays Theresa on Days of Our Lives is such a great singer that Capital Records is interested in signing her to record two albums. It seems that the company was so impressed with Lilley’s Christmas duet with her co-star Eric Martsolf, who plays Brady Black on the soap, that they are interested in starting her music career.
If this is true then Jen could be leaving Salem behind her for greener pastures. Fans know that Jen can really sing, and would love to see her music career take off. However, losing Lilley could mean the end of Theresa Donovan on Days of Our Lives. What will Salem do without it’s fan favorite bad girl? Could the character be recast if Jen were to leave?
Meanwhile, Jen Lilley’s on-screen niece, True O’Brien, who plays Paige Larsen may also be exiting. Spoilers reveal that Paige will find out about her boyfriend JJ’s affair with her mother, Eve, and be so disgusted and betrayed by it that she’ll leave Salem.
If Paige were to leave Days of Our Lives it would likely be to head off to college at Stanford where she was supposed to attend school but deferred for a year to stay with JJ and intern at Salem University Hospital.
However, the NBC soap has pegged JJ and Paige as their main young couple. They are the current Shawn and Belle of the show, and could be the reason why some younger viewers tune in. If they’re over could the show lose viewers in an already tough time for soaps?
As perviously reported by the Inquisitr, Days fans have already lost some major characters in the past few months and losing more seems unfair to viewers. With the exit of Alison Sweeney’s Sami Brady and James Scott’s EJ DiMera a big hole was left in the show, which they’ve been working hard to fill, but if characters continue to leave it will only get hard to plug the gaps.
Hopefully, Theresa Donovan and Paige Larsen will stay put in Salem, but if not there is also the possibility of recasting the characters, which viewers usually dislike as well.
