Lisa Vanderpump may be a wildly successful television personality, but she is also a hardworking business woman. Over the past couple of years, Lisa has opened the doors up to the world, showing how she lives her life. Vanderpump made a name for herself on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which she has been filming since the very beginning. More recently, her restaurant SUR got its own spin-off show, Vanderpump Rules.
And while Lisa Vanderpump will gladly show off some things in her life, there is one thing she holds near and dear to her heart – in addition to her husband. It is no secret that Lisa treats her dog Giggy differently than her other pets. She often refers to the little dog as her child. Giggy – the beloved Pomeranian – has alopecia and has very little hair. To protect, Lisa and Ken will dress him in colorful and memorable outfits.
According to a new Bravo report, Lisa Vanderpump is now using Giggy as a role model for other dogs who want to look just as fabulous as himself. And he does have the platform as he has made appearances on Dancing with the Stars, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and was also named The Hollywood Reporter‘s Best Dog on Reality Television.
Giggy is the inspiration behind Lisa’s new business venture, Vanderpump Pets. It is a collection of glamorous dog collars and leashes. The best thing about this collection is that it is very affordable as most of the collars are about $30-$40.
“This was a labor of love and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do,” Lisa Vanderpump explains about the new business venture, adding that there are several collections; Casual Collection, Custom Collection, Diamonds & Pearls and the 2015 Giggy Collar.
Like any other business venture Lisa has launched, this particular dog business is indeed inspired by both Vanderpump and Giggy. You will find her signature pink color in many products. Vanderpump also offers customizable nameplates and exclusive designs, including blue suede fringe collars and jewel-encrusted leashes.
“Life isn’t all diamond and pearls but it should be, and it can be,” Lisa explains of the Diamonds & Pearls collection, adding, “They really look like jewelry.”
Lisa Vanderpump has decided that portions of all sales will be donated to Lisa and Giggy’s favorite dog charities, meaning all transactions will help dogs in need. It was only a matter of time before Lisa created a business venture inspired by her dog. And maybe this will become a trend for other housewives. According to the Inquisitr, Lisa has inspired other housewives to pursue business ventures as Ramona Singer is working on opening a restaurant.
