Giudice Early Release: Teresa Giudice Is Getting Out Of Prison Early, Find Out Her Release Date Here

Teresa Giudice will get an early release from prison, a couple of months shy of her 15-month prison sentence. According to People Magazine, the reality star has already gotten word that she will become a free woman on Feb. 5, 2016, about 13 months from now.

Giudice was brought to Danbury Federal Correction Institute in Connecticut early Monday morning to serve her time after reaching a plea deal in a federal fraud case. While Teresa’s court hearing was in the fall of last year, the judge who handed out Teresa’s sentence was very lenient and considerate by allowing her to spend the 2014 holidays with her family.

Despite the good news of Giudice’s early release date, The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star will be spending the 2015 holidays away from her family, which might be the hardest part of all of this. As a mother of four young daughters, Teresa will have a very difficult time missing a year of their lives, early release or not.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Joe Giudice, Teresa’s husband, also pleaded guilty to charges ranging from bank fraud to bankruptcy fraud. He was also sentenced to prison, but will serve 41 months behind bars. There is also a likelihood that he will only have to serve about 85 percent of his sentence, as there is a law in New Jersey called the “No Early Release Act” or “NERA,” which requires criminals to serve 85 percent of their prison sentences. Even with NERA, however, Joe will be locked up for more than three years, and that comes after being away from his wife for so long.

Even if Joe Giudice is granted early release, it’s going to be tough to keep his marriage together for the next four years. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there have been several rumors about Teresa and Joe getting divorced after all of this is said and done. While sources say that the two are determined to stay together through all of this, being apart from someone for years is not easy. If the couple grows apart, that won’t be surprising, though it will be even more devastating for their family.

As of now, Teresa needs to just focus on the next 13 months of her life. She will be able to call home, and she will be able to get visits from her kids, but nothing is going to get her home any sooner. Time is Teresa’s best friend and her worst enemy.
