WWE News: Backstage Update On Daniel Bryan’s Return And Possible WrestleMania Match

Daniel Bryan made his emphatic return to Monday Night Raw with a “major announcement” to be made. At first glance, the promotion of the huge announcement didn’t begin hours until Raw started. This wasn’t the first time a huge announcement was planned just hours before the night began. The WWE teased something that left the WWE Universe on the edge of their seats.

Over three years ago, Edge retired from the WWE due to a problem with his neck. Hours before Raw, it was announced that would he would be telling the WWE fans something huge that night on the program. His announcement was horrific news that brought with it sorrow and tears. Luckily for Daniel Bryan and the WWE Universe, his words were that of good news.

Daniel Bryan told the WWE fans that he would return at the Royal Rumble and compete in the Rumble match. This news allowed the WWE Universe to become ecstatic after Bryan battled for the last eight months with injuries. Now that he’s back, rumors are already starting to come about regarding his next feud. According to NoDQ.com, Bryan could wrestle Seth Rollins for his next program.

“Daniel Bryan vs. Seth Rollins has been discussed to take place during WrestleMania 31 season. No word if it was a match actually discussed for the WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view.

“Regarding Bryan being added to next week’s RAW and SmackDown tapings in Louisiana, word is that he will not be wrestling. Bryan isn’t expected to wrestle until the 30-man Royal Rumble main event.”

Daniel Bryan’s return is causing a major shift in WrestleMania 31 plans. Without him coming back, that alleviates a spot near the top of the card. That’s also another man that WWE officials need to worry about, as far as the WWE World Heavyweight championship is concerned.

The pop he received last week on Raw was the biggest in quite some time for any WWE superstar. Taking that and adding it to the Royal Rumble, or even WrestleMania 31, will only multiply in excitement and splendor. With Raw giving back a mediocre show, Bryan is needed back full-time in the worst way.

While some in the WWE still believe that Bryan is a B+ player, many think that Bryan will once again dominate the landscape of the WWE during WrestleMania season. Both opinions have their respective arguments, but Bryan proved last year that he has drawing power. A match with the company’s top heel, Seth Rollins, and the company’s top-returning face, Daniel Bryan, can only be best for business.
