Chris Soules Talks ‘The Bachelor’ 2015 Season Premiere: Which Ladies Made A Big Impression?

Fans have finally gotten their first full look at Chris Soules as ABC’s The Bachelor 2015 season lead, and it seems they liked what they saw. Soules met 30 women during Monday night’s premiere, and now he’s opening up a bit about the experience. Viewers saw his in-the-moment reactions to the ladies, but what does he say about it all now that he’s had some time to absorb the experience?

Soules is blogging for People this season, and he admits he was a bit dazed after meeting the first 15 women. He loved Britt Nilsson’s long hug, and he says he’s a hugger too. As tongue-tied as Kaitlyn Bristowe and her joke left Chris, she definitely made an impression him and it sounds as if that continues.

Chris also says that talking with Whitney Bischoff was a highlight of that first night. When it came to handing out the first impression rose, Soules says his head was spinning with the choices as so many ladies had impressed him. Ultimately that rose went to Britt, since she gave Chris what he says was the best hug of his life. He also says that she made him feel comfortable during a stressful evening.

As for the rose ceremony, Soules says he did notice Tara and her drunken wobbling. He admits that he was disappointed to see her so out of it, but he also says that he’s no choir boy himself, and he believes that everybody makes mistakes. As Chris shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday night, he had a nice connection with Tara earlier in the evening before she got drunk, which is why he gave her a rose. He says he doesn’t regret it.

Viewers were left hanging Monday night when one eliminated gal, Kimberly, came back into the mansion and pulled Chris aside. Does she really get a second chance? Naturally, the network teased fans with that tidbit, and viewers will have to wait a bit for either the next episode to air or some new Bachelor spoilers to break down the scoop on that front.

Will one of these 30 bachelorettes become Chris Soules’ wife in the months to come? He has said he is in love and happy, and Reality Steve’s spoilers have dished that he is engaged to one of the ladies from the show.
