Catelynn Lowell Baby: Full Name Of Daughter Revealed
Catelynn Lowell gave birth to her baby on New Year’s Day, and fans of the Teen Mom star have been anxious for any details about the little angel. Luckily, Tyler and Catelynn didn’t make fans wait as is typical when something big happens. Usually, due to their contracts with MTV, the stars aren’t able to release too much information right away, but the couple revealed several details including pictures, weight, and name. Well, at least fans thought they had revealed the name. It turns out that there was more to this story than anyone realized!
Initially, fans tried everything to get a hint of the name the couple chose for their daughter. While Catelynn was still pregnant, she and Tyler remained coy about the name, only revealing that they were calling her “baby v.” Of course, this threw fans off course, and they assumed that the couple had picked a name that started with the letter “v.”
After the baby shower, though, rumors started circulating that the couple had actually picked the name Nova for their little girl. Not everyone was convinced, and Teen Mom 3 star Briana Dejesus wasn’t too happy that another Teen Mom couple was picking the name that she used for her daughter. Well, it turns out that there is more to little Nova Baltierra’s name than fans realized, and Tyler took to Twitter to reveal that to fans.
Novalee is a beautiful name, and is reminiscent of the movie Where the Heart Is. In the movie, the main character, played by Natalie Portman, was named Novalee Nation. It is unclear where the couple heard the name Novalee or why they decided on it, but it could potentially be revealed on the upcoming season of Teen Mom, which is set to air later this month.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell had to deal with some criticism on Twitter for deciding to have another baby. The couple appeared on 16 and Pregnant, where they placed their daughter, Carly, up for adoption. It seems that some people decided to call the couple selfish for deciding to have another child after placing their first up for adoption. As Tyler pointed out, however, he wasn’t about to let people make him feel bad. Likewise, Catelynn Lowell made it clear that, although they chose adoption for Carly, they still have a close relationship with her, and they hope that one day they can explain everything to her.
Tyler Baltierra didn’t simply reveal his daughter’s full name, but also revealed that Catelynn Lowell is breastfeeding their daughter. However, it appears that it wasn’t an easy feat, but Catelynn didn’t give up.

Kailyn Lowry of Teen Mom 2 has long been outspoken about breastfeeding. In fact, she even has a shirt devoted to breastfeeding available in her online shop.
