Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney, And Others Share Well Wishes For Teresa Giudice’s Family
Vicki Gunvalson and a handful of Real Housewives stars have spoken out in support of the Giudice family, after The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice entered into a 15-month prison term on Monday.
“So sad knowing that one of our Bravo family members is going to jail today,” Gunvalson, of Orange County, wrote on January 5. “Praying for those 4 little girls and Theresa during this time.”
Vicki Gunvalson wasn’t the only Bravo star to speak out. Several women from the hit franchise released statements to fans on Twitter and Facebook.
Kyle Richards, of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, said, “Thinking of @Teresa_Giudice and her children today.”
“My heart goes out 2 @Teresa_Giudice and her family,” The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kenya Moore tweeted. “Such a sad day for a mother to be separated from her children. Saying a prayer for u all.”
“My Heart is breaking for Teresa and her family today. prayers for those little innocent girls,” Tamra Judge, Vicki Gunvalson’s co-star on The Real Housewives of Orange County, added.
As the Inquisitr reported, Giudice turned herself in on Monday to the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut.
Giudice “left her Montville Township mansion shortly after midnight in the back seat of a black SUV driven by her lawyer, James J. Leonard Jr. She surrendered just before 3 a.m., seven hours ahead of her scheduled intake, at the minimum-security prison camp,” NJ.com reported on January 5.
“She was ready,” Leonard said in a statement to NJ Advance Media. “Teresa is a very strong woman, she won’t have any problems in there.”
“When we arrived at Danbury, everyone we encountered was extremely courteous and respectful,” he added.
Last week, a source claimed Teresa and Joe Giudice hadn’t yet told their two youngest daughters that she would soon be behind bars. Instead, they claimed she was going away to work.
“Teresa and Joe feel that they are too young to fully comprehend what is going on,” a source explained to Radar Online. “Teresa and Joe are telling the girls that she is going away to work. She told them she is going to jail to work on a book about jail.”
The fellow housewife of Vicki Gunvalson spent her final free weekend with her kids in New Jersey, where she was seen running errands with her youngest daughter, Adrianna, and going to church with her family, including husband Joe Giudice.
