Baby In Handbag: Mom Shares Photo Carrying Infant Son In Designer Purse, Sparks Outrage
There are so many new fashion trends to make motherhood a bit more stylish. Designer diaper bags have become quite popular over the last few years. However, one mother may have taken the concept to the extreme. Apparently, she decided that her designer handbag could be used as a diaper bag. But, unfortunately, she decided to put more than diapers in it. Now, she’s sparked a big controversy.
According to Metro, Xue Hseuh recently shared a photo carrying her 9-month-old son in her handbag. She was reportedly shopping with friends, when she made the decision to put her son in the designer handbag. So, one of her friends decided to snap a quick photo of the seemingly hilarious scene. Then, Hseuh took things a step further and shared the picture of her son via social media. Much to her surprise, her son’s photo quickly began circulating around different social media platforms and has gone viral.

Unfortunately, she didn’t quite get the reaction she was probably expecting. Although she thought the photo was comical and adorable, many viewers were extremely appalled by her actions, and feared for the safety of the baby. But, of course, there were others who defended her actions, arguing that all of the criticism is a bit extreme.
“What a stupid idea…..he doesn’t have room to move or kick his little legs….shame on you. Maybe we should put her in a designer bag and see how she likes it.”
“No, people are too critical. I am beginning to not find any redeeming qualities to social media. Everyone is an expert on everyone else. Worry about yourself!!”

According to Express, Hseuh quickly chimed in to offer an explanation for the photo. The 26-year-old mother explained that the baby wasn’t in the handbag for an extended period of time, and it was only for picture purposes. She also said that the picture was supposed to be a joke depicting how parenthood would be if men were in charge. However, many weren’t buying her response, reports Mirror.
“Designer babies, the latest accessory that every woman must have.”
“I wonder what she will do when the straps break on her handbag?”
