Miley Patrick Dad: Miley Cyrus Meets Patrick Schwarzenegger’s Dad, He Approves
Miley and Patrick Schwarzenegger’s dad, Arnold, spent some quality time together over the past week, and sources say that the two really hit it off. According to Us Magazine, the former governor of California approves of his son’s new girlfriend. Patrick brought his new girlfriend along for a family trip to Idaho, where Miley got to meet some of her beau’s extended family and friends. Sources say that they all had a wonderful time together.
“Arnold knows his place as father. He’s happy for Patrick and was thrilled that Patrick introduced him to Miley. Patrick always brings a huge crew of his friends. Having Miley around has added a little spice to the usual vacation, though.”
Miley and Patrick’s dad might not be “buddies,” but it is nice for Patrick to know that his dad supports him, especially if his mom, Maria Shriver, doesn’t. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there have been reports that Shriver isn’t too thrilled about Patrick’s new love interest. Sources say that Maria is nervous that Miley Cyrus will be a bad influence on her son. There were a few reports before the holidays that Shriver didn’t want Cyrus hanging out with the Kennedys for Christmas. She apparently made that quite clear to Patrick.
“Shriver has made it quite clear that Cyrus is not welcome to their house this Christmas. The Kennedy family is not in very high spirits as Shriver has banned the 22-year-old [from celebrating] Christmas with them — much to her son’s frustration. She doesn’t think it’s appropriate to have Miley around the rest of the Kennedy family.”
It’s a good thing that Miley is liked by Patrick’s dad because it makes things a bit easier on the couple. However, there could be something else going on here. According to Hollywood Life, Arnold may be looking at his son’s relationship from a business perspective. This relationship is putting Patrick on the map, and that means that there is more attention on Arnold, which isn’t a bad thing, apparently.
“Arnold loves that Patrick is dating Miley. He’s been showing her off around Ketchum to all his friends. Arnold loves being in the spotlight and is really enjoying all the attention Patrick’s relationship with Miley is getting. He’s proud of Patrick for dating such a sought after girl like Miley. He compares it to dating Madonna at the peak of her fame.”
