‘My Strange Addiction’ Features 70-Year-Old Man In Must-See Doll Suit [Video]

My Strange Addiction returns next week, and the premiere episode of the TLC show features one of the weirdest ways to turn back the clock that you’ll ever see.

According to People, the January 7 episode of My Strange Addiction (“Men In Doll Suits”) will explore the bizarre world of female maskers – men who wear masks and silicone suits to look like life-sized female dolls. The strange addiction has a very “Silence of the Lambs” vibe, but thankfully maskers are perfectly happy wearing skin-colored rubber instead of stitched-together human leather.

A preview for My Strange Addiction features a masker named Robert. He’s been dressing up like a blonde babe named “Sherry” for the past 12 years, and he absolutely loves the way he looks with his busty rubber body and his expressionless mask.

“I just can’t believe that that’s a 70-year-old man in the mirror,” Robert says in the video below. “And that’s why I do this.” He describes his alter-ego Sherry as “a very exciting female.”

As you can see, Robert views Sherry as a separate entity from himself, and he seems pretty smitten with her.

Earlier this year, Robert talked to The Huffington Post UK about his obsession with dressing up in a mask and a “FemSkin Suit.”

“My motivation for doing this is a mystery to everyone, including me. One day something just clicked on. I don’t know why it started and I don’t know why it continues, but I’m sure having a lot of fun.”

According to Gawker, Robert has also been featured in a UK television documentary titled Secrets of the Living Dolls. It looks like some of the same footage from that documentary was used in My Strange Addiction, including a scene that shows Robert covering the inside of his doll suit with powder so that it doesn’t stick to him.

FemSkin suits are modeled after the RealDoll sex dolls that some men rely on for companionship. The silicone body suits feature realistic breasts and female genitalia, which is why the doll suit is censored in the video above. According to Robert, his bare vagina didn’t look quite realistic enough, so he improved it by gluing some of his own hair around it.

In the Secrets of the Living Dolls footage, Robert admits that he has a hard time dating 50 and 60-year-old women because he’s so infatuated with wrinkle-free Sherry.

Dressing up like a living doll might seem like a weird fetish to some, but it’s not the craziest obsession that has been featured on My Strange Addiction. As the Inquisitr previously reported, one past subject of the TLC series confessed to sucking on diapers full of urine. This season will feature a 26-year-old woman who drinks air freshener, a 29-year-old woman who eats bricks, and a 56-year-old woman who is married to a carnival ride.

The season premiere of My Strange Addiction airs January 7 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
