Maci Bookout And Taylor McKinney Are Expecting A Baby Girl, ‘Teen Mom’ Is 16 Weeks Pregnant

Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney are expecting their first child together. According to a report, Bookout, of MTV’s Teen Mom, has suffered from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, and didn’t think she could have any more children. Then, over the summer, the 23-year-old discovered she was pregnant.

“We still can’t believe it,” Bookout revealed to In Touch Weekly (via the Daily Mail) on December 29. “It was a huge shock but we are very excited.”

The magazine reported that Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney will welcome their child in June, as the reality star is currently 16 weeks along.

“This baby is such a blessing. I’m calling her my miracle baby.”

Prior to their baby news, Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney, who have been together for nearly two years, were considering adopting in the future.

“I knew my chances of getting pregnant were very low,” Bookout explained.

After her legs began to itch and she felt “swollen,” Bookout took a pregnancy test.

“We got a test and it said I was pregnant,” Bookout said, adding she took four additional tests to confirm the news.

Bookout also has son Bentley, 6, from her previous relationship with Ryan Edwards. The two starred on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant in 2009, where they were seen welcoming their son. Months later, the former couple appeared on Teen Mom.

Although Teen Mom was cancelled in 2012, after Amber Portwood entered into a five-year prison sentence, it was ultimately brought back by the network, and will debut its fifth season sometime next year.

In addition to Bookout’s pregnancy, fans will also be seeing Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra welcome their second child during Season 5. The pair, who’ve been together for about 10 years, announced they were expecting a baby girl in August.

Lowell and Baltierra have also planning a spring 2015 wedding as they film Season 5.

Meanwhile, Portwood, who the Inquisitr reported recently lost her father, is out of prison and doing well in a new relationship. While she has yet to regain custody of her daughter, Leah, she sees her regularly, and recently released a book.

Earlier this month, it was reported Abraham, who was said to have been fired from the series, would be returning to Season 5. However, on December 8, the sex tape star set the record straight.

“Not true and that is a lie,” she told Rumorfix of a possible return to Teen Mom. “I have no need to change [and no need] to call people.”
