Brad Pitt Warned By Angelina Jolie To Stay Away From Rihanna?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are always news, but have been especially prominent lately with Jolie’s directorial debut, Unbroken, scoring at the box office, and Brangelina’s support of their child Shiloh wanting to go by the name John. But media outlets like Celebrity Dirty Laundry are reporting trouble in paradise for the Hollywood power couple. Rumor has it Brad has been warned by Angelina to stay away from pop star Rihanna, who isn’t shy about her Brad Pitt crush: the singer reportedly even had a life size poster of Brad hanging over her bed at one time, referring to him as “her future husband.”
Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie simply the victims of the Hollywood rumor mill, or are the newlyweds struggling with the reality of marriage like everyone else does?
Brad Pitt has remained supportive of his new bride, but Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported that Jolie was not happy when Pitt introduced Rihanna at the Diamond Ball charity gala in Beverly Hills recently. Likewise, they claim Brad was upset when Angie was flirting with her Unbroken stars Miyavi and Jack O’Connell.
Don’t these two have an open relationship? Or has that changed now that Brangelina have made it official by exchanging wedding vows?
Given that the sources of the story include The National Enquirer, perhaps the whole drama has been exaggerated and Brad and Angelina are still going strong.
Brad met Angelina on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith while still married to girl-next-door Jennifer Aniston. While Brangelina have long claimed they didn’t get together romantically until after Brad and Jennifer split, Angelina was branded as a homewrecker.
Since then, Angelina has redeemed herself in the public eye with her philanthropic projects, her public choice to have a preemptive double mastectomy to avoid breast cancer, and her move into the director’s chair. The couple married in August of this year.
In a case of art at least partially imitating life, Brad and Angelina have just completed Jolie’s third directorial project, where they play a couple trying to save their marriage. While Brangelina were happy to finally work together onscreen again, Jolie told The Hollywood Reporter that she knew the plot would draw speculation about the real marriage.
“Yes, we spent our honeymoon playing two people in a terrible marriage. I’m sure a therapist would have a field day analyzing the films I choose to do. But it’s been 10 years since Brad and I have worked together. It felt like it was time.”
