Nick Jonas Will Thrill Fans On New Year’s Eve, Then He’s Off To Tour With Iggy Azalea

Nick Jonas is getting ready to tour with Iggy Azalea in 2015, but first, he’s going to close out 2014 with a New Year’s Eve performance that will undoubtedly thrill fans who may not get to see him perform as Iggy’s opening act in her upcoming “Great Escape Tour.”

Jonas, who was formerly part of the boy-band The Jonas Brothers, is one of the many musical guests performing on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rocking Eve with Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday night.

However, Nick won’t be singing “Jealous” in New York City’s Times Square. Instead, the Hollywood Reporter states that Jonas will perform at the Billboard Hollywood Party that will be broadcast during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2015 on ABC.

In addition to Nick Jonas’ New Year’s Eve performance, Iggy Azalea, Bastille, Charli XCX, Jason Derulo, One Direction, Pentatonix, Rixton and Meghan Trainor will also be performing during the West Coast segment of the show, starting at 8 p.m. on December 31.

Once the holiday festivities are over, Jonas will ring a very busy 2015. Nick recently appeared on Live With Kelly & Michael and talked about his upcoming tour with Iggy Azalea and preparations he’s making for his role on Kingdom, the upcoming DirecTV series about group of mixed martial arts competitors based in a Venice, California gym. And yes, it seems he’ll be shirtless most of the time, something fans love to see.

Nick told Kelly Ripa that his training for Kingdom was intense, and he had to put on 15 pounds of muscle for the role — something that he is not shy about showing off in pictures on Instagram and Twitter. When he starts touring with Iggy Azalea, he plans to have a personal trainer with him to continue his intense workouts, so his rockin’ abs will undoubtedly continue to impress his 9 million-plus Twitter fans.

Iggy’s “Great Escape Tour” starts in April, with Nick performing the opening act at every concert, starting with the first show in Fresno on April 14, 2015. The tour is a hectic one, with shows across the country in a long list of cities including Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, and Houston, as well as a stop in Toronto, Ontario. The tour wraps up on May 24 in Austin, Texas.

Fans are excited to see lots of Nick Jonas in the coming year, but no one seems to be more excited than Nick himself. The hunky 21-year-old celebrity recently tweeted that he’s looking forward to an “amazing” 2015.
