A son pays off his parents’ house in one of the best Christmas gifts ever. According to Pop Sugar, YouTube user JoeyTrombone decided to give his parents something pretty priceless for the holidays, and he caught their reactions on video. He presented his parents with a hand-written note, letting them know that he had paid off their mortgage. Their reactions will have you grabbing for tissues.

“Raising kids [check]. College loans [check]. Mortgage [check]. Your house is paid off. Merry Xmas — Joe,” read the note. According to KTLA, Joseph Riquelme was the man behind the amazing gift. He worked hard to create the iPhone video editing tool “Videoshop,” which has rewarded him handsomely. He decided to take advantage of his fortune, and help his parents out in a big way.

When a son pays off his parents’ house, you can imagine just how special that is — what a way to really give back. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the only thing that Joseph’s mother could say was, “I love you so much!” His parents, who live in Hayword, California, were simply overjoyed by their son’s selfless gesture.
