Kesha: Dr. Luke Says Birthday Card Proves She’s Lying About Sexual Assault

Kesha’s letter to Dr. Luke may have come back to haunt her. As Inquisitr reported, Kesha is suing producer Dr. Luke for sexually assaulting her and ruining her life. TMZ is reporting today that Dr. Luke has produced a letter written to him by Kesha, where she has nothing but great things to say about him, a direct contrast to the vile things of which he is accused.

In the contents of the letter obtained exclusively by TMZ, Kesha states the following in a birthday card marked with kissy lips and stamped with the statement, “You just keep getting hotter every year.”

“Happy Birthday()To the Foxxy-est producer ever! Ur just getting better with time! Thank you for helping me make my wildest dreams come true! I love you.”

Attorneys for Dr. Luke say this card sounds hardly like the man she has described to the courts, a man who has been abusive to her sexually, emotionally and physically, according to Page Six.

In papers filed by Kesha and her attorney, she outlined a life of pain with the producer who helped make her famous. Specifically, Kesha, aka Ke$ha, says that Dr. Luke signed her at the age of 18, and almost immediately, began forcing her to use drugs and have sex with him. The songwriter and rapper also stated that he would force her to drink alcohol, and then, he would give her ‘sober pills’ to make it all better the next day. On one occasion, much like the Bill Cosby rape accusations, Kesha woke up naked after Dr. Luke drugged and raped her.

Not only was the producer abusive to her sexually and physically, she stated that he also insulted and abused her emotionally. On top of all of that, his constant taunts of her being talentless and fat and equating her with the size of a refrigerator caused her to develop bulimia nervosa, an eating disorder.

Dr. Luke’s lawyer stated that none of it is true, and Kesha is a liar who is just trying to get out of her contract. He then sued her for defamation.

Regarding Dr. Luke’s defamation lawsuit, Kesha’s attorney, Mark Geragos, had this to say to TMZ,

“This is just another pathetic and entirely predictable example of Dr. Luke’s continued abuse, and a misguided attempt to keep Kesha under his tyrannical control. This lawsuit has absolutely no basis in fact, the law or reality. Kesha is focused on reclaiming her voice and her freedom. She is determined to move on with her life and her career by putting this dark period behind her.”

Kesha has been a household name since she rose to fame in 2009 after she made her debut on Flo Rider’s hit song “Right Round.” Her style is inspired by 1980’s sensation Madonna and the 1970’s rock group Queen.
