WWE: CM Punk Talks About AJ Lee Wrestling For The WWE Divas [Video]

When it comes to CM Punk and AJ Lee, it’s long been assumed that their marriage and careers may be a source of conflict considering Phil Brooks’ public conflict with Vince McMahon, Triple H, and the WWE management. But if there is a conflict, then he is not going to call out AJ Lee’s boss to the floor.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, when CM Punk claimed Ryback was a “steroid guy” who deliberately injured him multiple times, the other wrestler was obviously angered and lashed back on Twitter. Now that he’s had some time to cool down, Ryback went on Chris Jericho’s podcast to explain what he thought about the allegations.

Rumors keep flying that AJ Lee is leaving the WWE like CM Punk, and the rumor mill only spun faster when she teased, “You’re gonna miss me when I’m gone.” Many assumed the WWE Diva was teasing fans since it’s assumed she is aware of the rumors surround her and her famous husband. But when CM Punk spoke on Off The Record it seems like the married couple has decided to maintain her WWE career for the long haul.

“I’ve had plenty of conversations with my wife about her working there. If she wants to work there, more power to her. We have separate careers and will continue to have separate careers, and we’re stronger for that for having understanding and supporting each other.”

If fans read between the lines, it is possible CM Punk is being careful in what he says since he obviously does not want to jeopardize AJ Lee’s WWE career by speaking negatively of how the WWE is treating her within the WWE Divas. It’s also very likely they discussed the possible ramifications for going public with his story and decided the WWE would not take out their frustrations with CM Punk on his wife.
