Nicki Minaj’s ‘The Pinkprint Movie’ Alleges Traumatic Relationship With Ex-Boyfriend [Video]

Nicki Minaj seemed to have laid out her heart in her new music video titled “The Pinkprint Movie” – and those going through nasty and emotional on again and off again relationships may just end up playing this one on loop. You’ve been warned.

The 16-minute long movie, which was released on December 19, interlaces three tracks from Minaj’s new LP to tell a story of the shattering agony of love and an eventual heart-wrenching breakup.

The film, which appears to mirror Minaj’s split from ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels, shows that Nicki isn’t afraid to open up and bare her wounds in song.

Divided into three chapters, the music video includes three songs from Minaj’s The Pinkprint –“The Crying Game,” “I Lied,” and “Grand Piano.”

Minaj was the one to create the concept for “The Pinkprint Movie,” which premiered on Revolt on Friday night before it was uploaded to the singer’s YouTube channel.
