Lucy Hale Cancels First Headlining Tour

Lucy Hale was beyond excited to announce that she had scheduled her very first headlining tour, which was set to take off just after the New Year. That joy was short lived, as the actor turned musician took to social media to announce to her fans that her Road Between Tour had to be canceled due to medical problems.

According to a previous report by the Inquisitr, Pretty Little Liar’s Lucy Hale announced her very first headlining tour earlier this month, and was beyond excited to share the news with her many adoring fans.

“I’m so excited,” Hale told Rolling Stone Country in the exclusive tour announcement. “We’ve done a radio tour and radio shows, but now we get to do actual shows and do the entire album for people who have been supporting me.”

The excitement was short lived, according to E! News, because on Friday Lucy Hale took to Instagram to post a message to fans, telling them that her tour was canceled due to health issues, which she later clarified as a vocal strain.

“Words can’t describe how disappointed I am for having to cancel something we were all looking forward to. Your support of my music has made me so happy and you’ll never know how grateful I am for you,” said Hale. “I am going to follow through and take the advice not to embark on the tour at this time to prevent further damage. I love you all and thank you for your understanding.”

Fans quickly took to sites such as Twitter to post their support and love for the Pretty Little Liar’s actress.

According to The Boot, a press release noted that those who already purchased tickets for Lucy Hale’s Road Between Tour should contact their point of purchase for refund information.
