Stephen Collins’ Victim Says She Does Not Accept Apology, Believes More Victims Than Actor Claims

One of Stephen Collins’ victims says she does not accept the actor’s apology, and that he is downplaying the abuse which occurred when she was only 10-years-old.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Stephen Collins confessed earlier this week to acting impulsively when exposing himself to two underage female victims and engaging in inappropriate touching with another pre-teen girl in his home. According to the Daily Mail, Collins has claimed he received no pleasure from his acts.

“When the girl and I were watching TV alone, I moved her hand in such a way that caused her to touch me inappropriately. It lasted less than a minute, during which there was no gratification. I then left the room. I had no further physical contact with her. It was a completely impulsive act and it’s haunted me ever since to think of what I put her through.”

However, this victim, who remains anonymous for now, claims Collins is downplaying the extent of the sexual abuse, reports TMZ.

“Stephen is minimizing the incident. It was not just a spontaneous touching… that aggression resulted in him ejaculating.”

The victim, now age 50, also does not believe Collins’ statement to People that he did not want to apologize so he did not reopen old wounds for the victims.

“Why isn’t he donating any disposable income, beyond what he needs to survive, to a child-abuse charity? Maybe he should at least try apologizing to his victims.”

The woman also believes there are more than just the three victims Collins confessed to in taped counseling sessions allegedly leaked by Collins’ estranged wife, Faye Grant.

The victim, now age 50, has filed a police report with NYPD and an investigation is taking place. The case may be too old, however, for Collins to face criminal charges.

In an interview with Katie Couric airing tonight on ABC’s 20/20, Stephen Collins says he never intended for his private indiscretions to be revealed, and he never wanted to deal with this issue publicly.

“This came out. I didn’t choose this to come out. I didn’t want to have to deal with these things publicly. I had dealt with them very, very strongly and commitedly in my private life, but I think I’m a human being with flaws and I’ve done everything I can to address it.”

In the short clip from the interview below, Collins insists, despite admitting to abusing three underage females, he is not a pedophile.

Couric’s full interview of Stephen Collins airs tonight at 10 p.m. on ABC.
