One ‘Teen Wolf’ Star Is Going On Hiatus From Social Media
One of the stars from Teen Wolf recently told his fans that he would be stepping away from social media for a while, but he didn’t give any details as to why or how long he would be gone.
On his Twitter account, Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey thanked his 1.39 million followers for all of their support, and said that he wouldn’t be online for some time.

However, it’s uncertain why Posey is taking a break from social media. Teen Wolf isn’t scheduled to start filming its fifth season until February, as Matthew Del Negro told Bleep Magazine. Posey’s IMDb page says that he is in the middle of filming a Kevin Smith film called Yoga Hosers, so he might be busy with that.
This has also been a rough year for the Teen Wolf star. According to a report from E! Online, Posey’s mother is battling breast cancer. Though he has been more open about her battle, he admitted that it was tough for him at first.
“When I was younger, when we were first going through it, when I was 18, it was definitely hard, partly because I didn’t want to accept it and I didn’t want to talk about it. But now—it’s not second nature—but it’s easier. It’s nice being open because that opens doors for people to comfort you and share experiences with you. Sharing and being open about it is a really good thing.”
And as the Inquisitr previously reported, the Teen Wolf star broke off his engagement to Seana Gorlick. The couple had been together for 11 years.
With work and personal issues, the Teen Wolf star probably felt that it was time to break away from Twitter for a while so he could focus on more important things. However, in November, Posey told E! Online that he was excited to start working on the upcoming season of Teen Wolf, even though he didn’t know much about it.
“It’s going to be bada**. Like, it’s another thing we haven’t done before. I’m really excited. It’s cool because I know nothing about the season, I only know one part of it. But it’s so bada** that I would watch the entire season just for this one part.”
Teen Wolf returns to MTV with a 20-episode fifth season in 2015.
