Treadmill Fail: See Man’s Hilarious Push-up Recovery After Ogling Woman [Video]

Jumping off the treadmill and transitioning straight into a set of push-ups is an impressive feat that would be a perfect part of a HIIT (high intensity interval training) workout, and it’s also a great way to recover after an embarrassing treadmill fail.

The Mirror recently shared a video of a treadmill-tromping gym rat who paid dearly when he tried to sneak a peek at a pretty girl passing by. He probably saw her bright red hair out of the corner of his eye, and he stared a bit too long when he noticed her skintight yoga pants — he literally fell hard for the girl when he quit paying attention to his feet and went flying off of the treadmill. Before his tumble, he was trying to jog while holding a cup of water (obviously he spilled his drink during his spill). You can check out his embarrassing gym fail below.

As you can see, the clumsy jogger couldn’t ogle the girl and stay on the treadmill at the same time, but he did think pretty fast off his feet — he quickly started doing push-ups when his loud “Thud!” made the girl in the tight pants turn around. She stared at him for a second or two, likely because his push-up form was atrocious. It also looks like treadmill guy didn’t stop staring at her, which is just a tad creepy.

The Mirror points out how odd it is that someone is recording a normal-looking guy on a treadmill at the gym, so perhaps this whole setup was just a prank. Prankster Roman Atwood isn’t responsible for the video, but he did help make it go viral by sharing it on his YouTube page. You might remember Atwood as the terrible human being who tricked his wife into thinking that he accidentally killed their son — the treadmill prank isn’t cruel or unusual enough when compared to his previous work.

According to Opposing Views, it appears that the treadmill video was first shared on a parody Vine account named after American Pie character Steve Stifler.

If watching a guy ogle a woman gives you the creeps, you might want to try some mind bleach in the form of a completely different treadmill video. The Inquisitr previously shared a squee-worthy video of an adorable dog getting his treadmill workout in while dressed like a teddy bear. Spoiler alert: he does a much better job of staying on the machine than creepy treadmill guy.

What do you think of the guy’s treadmill recovery? Was it a smooth move, or did trying to play off his fall make him look even worse?
