‘Destiny’ Hotfix Updates ‘Dark Below’ Raid Gear, Missions, And More

Bungie released a hotfix to Destiny on Tuesday to correct some issue with the PlayStation and Xbox shooter. It also gave a boost to The Dark Below Raid gear and is now giving owners a chance to replay the first mission in the expansion.

The 1.1.0.2 hotfix update to Destiny will start Raid Gear picked up in Crota’s End at level 30 now, with an upgrade path to reach level 32. Players can also expect to see the Raid helmet to drop in Normal Mode now and it will be a more frequent drop when Hard Mode goes live at the beginning of next year.

Be sure to check out the “Crota’s End Raid Guide” on the Inquisitr if you need helping making your way through.

Changes made to the Pocket Infinity Fusion Rifle in the last update to Destiny that caused longer charge times have also been rolled back, according to Bungie. You may have also noticed that certain weapons in the game could shoot straight through Hive Knight shields. That’s been fixed, unfortunately.

Destiny players lamented the fact that the first The Dark Below story quest, Fist of Crota, was not replayable after first beating it. Bungie has added that as part of the mission selector with this update.

The Fist of Crota is a good mission to run if you need to complete any of the Eris Morn bounties involving killing the Sword Knight or getting kills with the sword instead of waiting around on Patrols for Swords of Crota to spawn. Unfortunately, the final mission for the Urn of Sacrificequest is not replayable, as it was truly enjoyable.
