Maci Bookout Reacts To Car Crash Involving Ex, Ryan Edwards
Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards appeared together on the MTV shows 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom. While their relationship fizzled out, the two share a son together. Ryan, father of six-year-old Bentley, was involved in a car crash Friday night in his home state of Tennessee, but the reality show star is doing okay.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, initial reports of the crash provided little information about the head-on collision involving the Teen Mom dad. Witnesses alleged to TMZ that Ryan was swerving across double yellow lines before crashing into another woman’s car, head-on. The reports also allege that he may have been speeding. Photos of the crash were also released which show Ryan bloody and looking in bad shape. However, it turns out that he wasn’t in as bad as shape as he looked and rode to the hospital with a friend, denying a ride from the ambulance.
After hearing about the reports, Maci Bookout took to Twitter to address the car crash involving the father of her son.
Ryan was involved in a car accident yesterday, the articles “reporting the story” have many errors in their facts. Thankfully Ryan is okay!
Maci did not go into detail about why reports may have been erroneous, and it is unclear when more details about the car crash will be released. The car crash is still under investigation.
Although their relationship did not work out romantically, Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards have always done their best to stay civil with one another. Ryan briefly appeared on Maci’s MTV special, Being Maci, and it was suggested that the two may have been considering reconciliation in their relationship. However, the two did not get back together. Maci did, however, move on with a new man who recently relocated to Tennessee to be with her.
MTV announced that the original Teen Mom cast, including Maci and Ryan, would be back for an all-new season set to air early next year. While the two have had some tense moments on the show in the past, they appear to be getting along better these days which is good news since they have a son together. The new season of the show may choose to touch on Ryan’s car wreck, but that is not yet clear.
Maci Bookout, aside from returning to the show that made her famous, has also started a website where she sells apparel.
