Is This Jeb Bush’s Strongest Indication That He May Run For President?

Son of the former President George H. W. Bush, brother of former President George W. Bush, and the only Republican to serve two full four-year-terms as Governor of one of the largest swing states in the United States, Jeb Bush has always attracted questions on whether he will run for President of the United States.

Jeb Bush is expected to announce his decision of a possible Presidential campaign early next year. Presently, Bush is planning to release roughly 250,000 emails from his years as Florida’s governor. Along with the emails, which he hopes creates transparency, Bush is also currently penning an ebook of his time as governor of Florida.

In the interview, Jeb Bush spoke about the joy of going back and forth, thinking about his decision.

“It’s been kind of fun to go back and to think about this, and remind myself that if you run with big ideas and then you’re true to those ideas and get a chance to serve and implement them and do it with passion and conviction, you can move the needle.”

He continued, “And that’s what we need right now in America.”

Associates of Jeb Bush claim that the former governor could throw his hat into the ring as early as January. They have also claimed that Bush sent an email to potential donors to “keep your powder dry.” Should Jeb Bush decide to throw his hat into the Presidential race, it would mark a shift to the center-Right.

Conservative radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh has staunchly refused to support Jeb Bush’s Presidential push.

“[Jeb Bush] is totally absorbed in this comprehensive immigration business,” which voters oppose. “The American people are being let down here. They’re voting. They’re expressing their desires. They want this stuff stopped and the Republican Party is not listening.”

As former governor of Florida and the husband of a Mexican native, Bush could be the incentive for Latinos to vote for the GOP in the next election. Bush has also been a strong supporter of Obama initiatives such as amnesty for illegal immigrants.

Former President and brother of Jeb Bush, George W. Bush has talked up Jeb’s chances should he decide to run.

“Jeb doesn’t [fear failure]. Nor does he fear success, by the way. One reason why is because he was an able governor of Florida… The final consideration, of course, is… the family. And he has — he’s seen what it’s like to be the son of a president. He’s seen what it’s like to be a brother of the president… He’s not rushing into running for the presidency. I have no clue where his head is now.”
