Bill Cosby was a regular at the Playboy Mansion and had a bunny girlfriend within four years of his marriage, according to Barbi Benton, Hugh Hefner’s long-time girlfriend in the 1960s and ’70s.
Benton claims that Bill Cosby visited Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles regularly, not only to socialize but also to meet up with a woman whose identity has not been revealed, according to the Daily Mail. She related that Cosby would be at the Mansion nearly every Friday and Saturday night.
“Bill Cosby was one of the first people I met at the mansion, shortly after I met Hef in 1968,” Benton recalled.
“I didn’t know whether he was married or not — I was 18, I wasn’t about to ask him.”
“It was unusual for a family man to be at the Mansion — especially as regularly as Cosby was.”

Cosby married his wife Camille in 1964, and by 1968, his eldest two children had been born with a third on the way.
“I saw him there so many times I couldn’t count them. He would come to be with this one particular girl — I am not going to name her, but I will say that her name has not come out in any of the recent accusations against Cosby,” Benton added.
The relationship went on for over a year, and the unnamed woman was a willing participant, Benton claims.
Despite her assertions, Benton says that she didn’t hear any allegations that Cosby was a serial rapist at the time. More than 20 women have come forward to accuse Cosby of rape, as the Inquisitr previously reported, while at least a dozen more are said to be too afraid to speak publicly.
According to Variety, Hefner recently commented on the allegations against Cosby after one woman filed a lawsuit in which she claimed that the comedian raped her at the Playboy Mansion when she was 15.
“Bill Cosby has been a good friend for many years and the mere thought of these allegations is truly saddening. I would never tolerate this kind of behavior, regardless of who was involved.”
Benton also said that the Mansion wasn’t a place to get sex and that if a girl agreed to do anything, it was always meant to be of her own accord. She is sure that claims against Bill Cosby never reached the ears of Hefner, who she said was very protective over the girls.
“I am sure that Hef knew nothing of these allegations,” she said.
“If he had done he would have barred Bill Cosby from the Mansion, even though he was such a good friend.”
