What did it take to earn those angelic wings and parade in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2014? An intense dedication to diet and long hours of rigorous workouts, admit the supermodels. Now they’re sharing all their weight loss and sleek secrets, while Twitter fans rave and roar about their favorite Victoria’s Secret Angels following the airing of the show on Dec. 9, reported Hollywood Life.
One of the Angels who fluttered the most hearts on social media is Adriana Lima.

But Lima is modest about what it takes to get in shape, preferring to describe her regime as one designed to keep her healthy rather than looking uber-fabulous.
“I really try to eat as healthy as I possibly can. Vegetables, protein, knowing how to balance the right amount of carbs—that’s for me,” said Lima. “Because my metabolism is slowing down right now, I have to be careful now.”
As the Inquisitr reported, Adriana shifted to a Paleo diet when her nutritionist recommended the plan. Dr. Charles Passler advised Lima to avoid processed foods, dairy, and grains while emphasizing protein and non-starchy vegetables.
“The basic idea of the Paleo Diet is to eat what is natural and available. If it looks like it came from nature it is fine. No processed foods including breads and pasta. Dairy is also eliminated or minimized.
“Fruits are fine in moderation. Nuts are also fine in moderation—but keep in mind they are very calorie dense. Bottom line: The Paleo diet is a lower carb-eating program based on consuming mainly protein (meat, fish, poultry, eggs) and lower starch vegetables, such as leafy greens.”
In addition, Alessandra Ambrosio attracted applause on Twitter. Some sighed happily over the appearance of models together.

For Alessandra, staying in shape for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is all about making breakfast the largest meal of the day and incorporating exercise into her daily routine, reports Glamour magazine. She also follows a low carb diet.
Breakfast typically consists of eggs, fruit, and coffee, with a quick, simple lunch. For snacks, Alessandra slips into a coffee shop to power up with caffeine.
Ambrosio works out almost every day, with Pilates ranking as one of her favorite forms of fitness. And for a treat, she dines on her favorite cuisine.
“I have a serious weakness for Japanese food,” she admits.
