Teresa Giudice may not be filming the seventh season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but she is filming something. Less than one month ahead of Giudice’s prison term start date, the reality star and mother of four began filming an online cooking show for Glam.com.
“Teresa Giudice is finally stirring up something besides drama!” Radar Online reported on December 9. “The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has debuted the first episode of her new food show, Haute Hostess.”
“Today I’m going to be cooking one of my recipes out of my cookbook Fabulicious,” Giudice explains in a clip of the show.
In one episode, Giudice teaches viewers how to whip up one of her daughter’s favorite dishes, devil shrimp over angel hair pasta. Although it may sound complicated, Giudice assures fans her recipes are “quick, easy and delicious.”
In an additional scene, Giudice was featured in a blooper reel. In one scene, Giudice laughed, while telling the camera, “I know I’ll get it right eventually!”
According to the Inquisitr, Giudice’s cooking show deal was worth a reported $2 million per year.
“Teresa and Bravo have been taking this time to plan a big media event when she is released from prison either late next year or early 2016,” a source told the UK’s Daily Mail. “Teresa has been so popular with the viewers that they know this is going to be an amazing event. They are going to stay in touch with Teresa while she is in prison by taping phone calls and if possible, they will do jailhouse interviews with her.”
Following the report, an Inquisitr report surfaced, claiming Giudice’s rep told Radar the reports of a cooking show spinoff were “not true.”
“Teresa hasn’t been offered any new projects with Bravo. In fact, there is a lot of bad feelings where Bravo and Teresa are concerned. The network feels used, and was stunned Teresa said in court documents that the show was a sham,” an insider told Radar Online.
“Bravo would never sign Teresa up for her own show after everything that has gone down! It seems like someone that was once close to Teresa is now floating false stories about her, hoping to get back in good favor with her. It’s not going to work.”
Teresa Giudice is scheduled to report to prison on January 5 to begin her 15-month sentence. Husband Joe will begin his 41-month sentence upon her release.
