Who Is Leeza Gibbons Of The ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ 2015 Season?
The new Celebrity Apprentice 2015 season premieres soon on NBC, and people are ready to get started. It’s an eclectic cast this time around, though many fans recognize Leeza Gibbons along with a number of other celebrities who are playing for their favorite charities. There are signs that Gibbons could be a key cast member to watch this season, and everybody is trying to learn more about her. What’s the scoop on Leeza Gibbons?
Now that the Celebrity Apprentice cast has been officially announced and previews are coming out, the stars are sharing some teasers. Leeza Gibbons tweeted that fans will need to buckle up as the countdown is on for this fierce and fabulous season. Fellow cast members include the likes of Kate Gosselin, Brandi Glanville, and Lorenzo Lamas, so how will this long-time entertainer stack up?
Most recognize Gibbons from her years of television hosting, especially from her many years on Entertainment Tonight. As Biography notes, Leeza had a show called John and Leeza during the 1990s with fellow ET star John Tesh as well. He didn’t stick with the show for long, so Gibbons’ became simply Leeza and it lasted for a few years.
Gibbons has done a number of talk shows over the years. These days Leeza can be seen on America Now with former Apprentice winner Bill Rancic. She has a syndicated show called My Generation as well.
Leeza has done reality television before, having been on Dancing with the Stars with Tony Dovolani on Season 4. As it happens, fellow Celebrity Apprentice castmate Ian Ziering also danced on Season 4 of DWTS. It’s an interesting combination of stars this season, since Ziering’s Sharknado co-star Vivica A. Fox is also on this upcoming Apprentice 2015 season.
Does that mean that everybody will get along and there won’t be any drama in this new season? Maybe not in this group of Ian, Vivica, and Leeza, but early signs do point to plenty of drama from others.
These days, Gibbons lives in Los Angeles, her website notes, with her husband, Steven Fenton. She has three children, Lexi, Troy, and Nate, from previous marriages. Leeza has written multiple books, and has done a great deal of charity work as well.
Will Leeza’s chosen charity receive some big money thanks to her work on the new season of Donald Trump’s reality TV show? Celebrity Apprentice spoilers indicate that may be the case, and fans can’t wait to see her in action.
Leeza Gibbons and the rest of the Celebrity Apprentice 2015 cast kick things off on Sunday, January 4, with the show settling into its Monday night spot after that.
