‘Frozen’ Attraction Coming to Disneyland

Frozen has taken the world by snowstorm. Now, Anaheim, California is getting hit by a blizzard, and will be frozen over for a snow land.

That’s right, Disney is setting up a Frozen-themed attraction in the Californian Adventure park. The movie will be taking over what is now Hollywood Land and will have a show at the main Disneyland park.

This is not the first news of a Disney theme park getting some Frozen action. Epcot, too, will be getting it’s own attraction in the form of a ride.

At Disneyland, in California, Frozen will be featured in a 25-minute long musical number. Variety gives a little more details on the matter.

“A new Frozen show will debut inside the Fantasy Faire, with a retelling of the film’s story. Anna and Elsa will also make pre-parade appearances on a float during Mickey’s Soundsational Parade.”

Arendelle historians and characters from the show encourage audience member to join in on the songs. This show is a sing-a-long; you have been warned.

At California Adventure, Hollywood Land will be transformed into Frozen land with a number of attractions.

“Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post” will be a store selling movie merchandise. We can only hope that Disney will complete the store with a “Yoo-hoo!” calling salesperson.

“Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome” will be a place where children and adults can meet with the queen and princess for pictures. Previously, these two were at Disneyland where their line was up to a two hour wait.

“Freeze the Night! A Family Dance Party” will be a nightly feature where families can get their groove on to live music. Disney sure does love its dance parties. Just be sure you wear a jacket so you don’t get frozen.

“Olaf’s Snow Fest,” ABC 7 tells us, will be a Frozen wonderland for kids to play.

“Stage 17 in Hollywood Land will be turned into a winter wonderland that features a giant snow play area and musical performances by Arendelle bands the Frolicking Fjords and The Tubadors. There will also be areas where visitors can build a snowman, go down a snow slide or greet Olaf with a warm hug.”

The official opening of these attractions is set for January 7, 2015. However, Frozen fans can get a sneak peak starting December 20.

Downtown Disney isn’t safe from this Frozen snowstorm either.

The retail area will have an ice rink focused around Olaf, the summer loving snowman. The Frozen ice rink will stay open until February 22. In addition, Anna and Elsa’s Boutique will be opening.

Fan can’t get enough of Frozen and Disney keeps delivering.
