Terrence Howard Says He Never Beat His Wife Despite Restraining Order

Michelle Howard, the estranged wife of Michelle Howard has filed court documents in which she says husband Terrence Howard began beating her just 7 days after they wed in January 2010, claims that Howard has adamantly denied.

According to Michelle Howard “slugged me across my face and neck” and threatened to throw her off a balcony.

In the docs, Michelle claims Howard “slugged me across my face and neck” … and threatened to throw her off a balcony.

Among other acts of violence listed in the report were:

— smacking her in the face and chipping her tooth with his wedding ring
— throwing her down to the ground in a parking lot
— telling her, “I’ll hit a woman quicker than I’d hit a man”
— Saying, “If you tell anyone about my personal business, I will kill you and no one will ever know
— Screaming, “B*tch, walk home. That’s my car, I pay for it.”

In his own filing Howard says he never threatened Michelle while claiming that she has threatened to “release private materials to 3rd parties for her own personal financial gain” unless he promised to make payments to her in return for her silence.

According to a source speaking on condition of anonymity to TMZ among those materials is a video of Howard singing naked in the shower.

A temporary restraining order was issued to Michelle Howard on Tuesday morning. Michelle filed for divorce in February 2011.

The assault wouldn’t be a first alleged offense for Howard if found to be true, in 2001 he was arrested on domestic abuse charges for allegedly punching his estranged wife Lori McCommas in the face.
