Tammy Calvert Doesn’t Want Jeremy Divorcing ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Leah Calvert?
Tammy Calvert and the rest of Jeremy’s family are reportedly standing in the way of Jeremy’s divorce from Teen Mom 2 star Leah Calvert. Although Jeremy claims Leah was unfaithful, his family isn’t on board with him and Leah ending their marriage, and would rather the couple work through their issues.
“Jeremy’s family is very old-fashioned and country,” a source explained to Radar Online on December 5. “They are furious that he wants to end the marriage, and think he and Leah should stick it out despite the hard times.”
As the Inquisitr reported in October, Jeremy told his Twitter fans Leah cheated on him in a series of tweets, which read, “Well that was a surprise kinda u did it to Corey and now me with the same person good job sl*t. It’s me and to the ones who think it’s fake or bs it’s not filing this am k.”
“The truth is it’s a really f*cked up situation,” Radar‘s insider explained. “They don’t even live together anymore.”
In addition, as the Inquisitr reported, Jeremy is reportedly moving on with another woman, Brittany Musick, whom he met on Twitter, and has been talking to for the last three weeks.
“[Leah Calvert] may be reassuring fans that she’s still married to Jeremy Calvert, but her husband of more than two years is telling a beautiful single mom a totally different story,” Radar Online reported on December 4.
After Jeremy’s tweets about Leah’s reported cheating were shared, and later deleted, a source came forward, claiming Leah felt “trapped” in her own home after Tammy Calvert began bashing her on social media. According to the Inquisitr, Leah didn’t leave home for weeks after the scandal broke.
“She feels totally trapped, with her in-laws’ house only a few feet away,” an insider told Life & Style. “She feels like her every move is being watched.”
Lynn and Tammy Calvert were both said to be on the outs with Leah following Jeremy’s claims of her affair with Robbie Kidd, and Tammy even took to Facebook, where she slammed Leah for her alleged infidelities.
“She knows she’s caught and it over,” Tammy wrote, via Starcasm. “Her own mother know what she was doing and covered for her. Whats that say about there people. When your in a custody battle the last thing you need is this. Bus she made her choice, Now LIVE WITH IT!!!!”
Despite the reported pressure from Tammy Calvert and family to work through their issues, Radar’s source claimed a divorce “isn’t off the table. If anything, it’s just been postponed.”
