Aaron Carter Still Pinning After Hilary Duff This Holiday Season?
Aaron Carter still has a thing for ex-girlfriend Hilary Duff, that much we know. But is the singer still sending not-so-subtle hints that he misses her?
According to Us Weekly, Aaron Carter took to his Instagram to post a photo of himself watching an old episode of Lizzie McGuire, which starred Hilary Duff, and in this case, guest starred Aaron himself. The episode that threw the two young lovebirds together was from the first season of Lizzie McGuire, titled “Aaron Carter’s Coming to Town,” which aired in March 2001 on Disney Channel.
At the time this episode aired, Aaron and Hilary were already a thing. According to Entertainment Tonight, the two began dating at the young age of 13, though the happy couple split in 2002 after Aaron was caught cheating on Hillary with fellow actress Lindsay Lohan.
According to previous reports by the Inquisitr, Aaron Carter’s love for Hilary never truly faded. In fact, the 26-year-old singer was asked if he would ever try and rekindle a romance with Hilary, and he said he would.
“I’m not gonna give up on Hilary… ever. don’t know who she is today, she doesn’t know who I am today but I would sweep her off her feet if I ever got a chance to again and fix what I did wrong,” Carter explained.
These comments were only reaffirmed when Aaron took to Twitter to post messages that named no names, but where pretty obviously about Hilary.

Hilary Duff seemingly tried to avoid the comments and speculations, but soon she had to address the matter. According to the Inquisitr, when the topic came up during an interview with BuzzFeed, the singer kept her response light hearted, but made it pretty clear that she wasn’t interested in rekindling a romance with Aaron Carter, especially while she is working on her relationship with estranged husband Mike Comrie.
“He does, I keep seeing that, that he keeps doing that. I don’t know how I feel. I mean, that was so long ago, and obviously I’m still married, and I have a baby and we kind of just… don’t know each other. So, yeah…”
Just because Hilary has closed that door in her life, doesn’t mean that Aaron can’t dream! ‘Tis the season for love and togetherness, after all, so let’s let Aaron pin away in peace already!
